Join a cross-functional engineering team building tools, APIs, and integrations for Remote's HR and Payroll products.
Work with Elixir, Phoenix, Postgres, and modern front-end technologies while leveraging automation and AI.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead major projects, participate in cross-team initiatives, and suggest product improvements.
Design and implement agentic workflows end-to-end, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable outcomes.
Mentor other engineers, contribute to code reviews, and participate in hiring and support rotations.

What You Bring:

Strong engineering fundamentals and experience shipping production systems with a focus on automation and AI.
Practical experience with Postgres, CI/CD, and designing scalable architectures.
Nice to have: Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Nextjs, React/Vue/Angular.
