Job Summary:
- Conduct robust utilization review using established medical necessity guidelines.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to determine correct patient classification and efficient resource use.
- Communicate with payers regarding authorization and medical necessity.
Qualifications:
- Three years of UM/UR experience required.
- BSN or ADN with commitment to complete BSN within 5 years.
- Current Oregon RN license and BLS certification.
Working Conditions:
- Teleworking position with heavy use of computers and telephones.
- Follow patients on inpatient, observation, and emergency units.
- Flexible schedule with variable shifts and every other weekend.
