Responsibilities:
- Perform retrospective and concurrent Quality Assurance audits of Inpatient encounters.
- Identify educational opportunities and provide feedback to Coding Leadership.
- Audit scope includes government and commercial payors.
Qualifications:
- Associate of Science required; Bachelor of Science preferred.
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or equivalent certification.
- 3-5 years of auditing experience and 3-5 years of coding experience.
