Responsibilities:
- Review and validate medical codes for accuracy and compliance with ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and other coding systems.
- Provide expert coding guidance and support to clinicians and departments.
- Conduct coding audits, generate productivity reports, and collaborate with IT and billing teams.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification required.
- Minimum 3-5 years of medical coding experience, preferably in home health or hospice.
