Responsibilities:
- Code outpatient surgical and observation records with 95% or above accuracy.
- Assign correct CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and DRG codes.
- Monitor compliance with CMS and Oregon Medical Assistance program guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED and 4+ years of coding experience.
- Certification from AAPC or AHIMA (RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CPC).
- Active AAPC membership required.
