Network Engineer

To help continue our rapid growth and solve our clients’ toughest problems, Resultant needs an experienced Network Engineer to join our Service Delivery Team. The role involves serving as an escalation point for Tier 3 System Administrators and leading troubleshooting and decisive problem resolution for recovery of network functions from failure or degradation, including switching, routing, telephony, and telecom circuitry with both on premise infrastructure and public cloud where applicable. Diagnose, resolve, and document hardware and software network problems. Perform root cause analysis to eliminate reoccurring incidents. Provide on-call support as needed. Work with clients to interpret and implement change requests on network-related solutions. Provide technical assistance, training, and mentorship as needed to other technical resources including end-users and staff. The ideal candidate will institute monitoring and alerting across all networks with automated and documented escalation procedures.
