Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with core carriers through structured reviews and oversee onboarding, SOP alignment, and compliance.
- Design and refine linehaul schedules based on service standards and demand forecasts, conducting scenario modeling for optimization.
- Track KPIs like on-time performance and cost per mile, performing root cause analysis to drive corrective actions.
Leadership & Development:
- Support network optimization by addressing service disruptions and implementing targeted performance improvements.
- Provide data-driven operational insights to leadership to support service, cost, and efficiency goals.
- Assist with carrier performance management, compliance oversight, and contribute to SOP refinements and cost reduction opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Requires an Associate's Degree in Transportation, Supply Chain, or a related field and 10+ years in Carrier Performance Management or Logistics.
- Needs 3+ years experience in LTL/FTL networks, managing budgets, and applying DOT regulatory requirements including HOS and hazardous materials.
- Preferred experience includes project management, scheduled linehaul planning, and managing remote teams, with strong skills in MS Office, analytics, and negotiation.
