Job Description

We're looking for a strategic and hands-on Lifecycle Marketing Manager to lead and scale our email and in-app engagement efforts. As OpenPhone’s first full-time person in this role, you’ll play a crucial role in the strategy, execution, and performance of our campaigns. And you'll ensure that the tens of millions of messages we send each year deliver personal, relevant experiences to each audience. You’ll partner closely with the Customer Success, Design, Content, and Product Marketing teams to bring campaigns to life and optimize performance. Own the entire customer lifecycle journey, from pre-trial through retention and referral. Partner closely with the Customer Success team to help drive activation, feature adoption, upsell, expansion and net revenue retention. Create personalized messaging strategies based on user segments, behaviors, and attributes. Monitor and analyze key metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates) to inform optimization efforts. Work with the Product Marketing and Product teams to effectively communicate new features and updates to the right user segments. Run A/B tests to optimize conversion rates and campaign performance. Assist with maintaining data hygiene and list management best practices. Ensure that our lifecycle efforts align with the latest email marketing best practices and deliverability standards. Help establish and document lifecycle marketing processes and playbooks.
