Role Overview:
- Perform DRG validation audits for prepay and retrospective cross-claim clinical reviews.
- Work a fixed off-hour shift (3 PM-11 PM ET or 11 PM-7 AM ET) including weekends and holidays.
- Draw on advanced ICD-10 coding expertise to substantiate audit determinations.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Health Information Management, or equivalent experience.
- Active coding certification: RHIA, RHIT, CPC, CCS, CIC, CDIP, or CCDS.
- 5+ years of experience with ICD-9/10-CM, MS-DRG, AP-DRG, APR-DRG, and medical claims billing systems.
Work Environment & Benefits:
- Fully remote role; must provide a dedicated secure work area and high-speed internet.
- Base hourly rate of $45.67, eligible for discretionary bonus and overtime.
