Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Software Development, the QA Manager is responsible for overseeing the Quality Assurance department at WinAir, ensuring high-quality output for each sprint and project. The role involves managing the QA team, monitoring test milestones, and ensuring the team follows best practices. The QA Manager works closely with internal teams and senior management to deliver projects on time and at the highest possible quality, while assisting with other duties as assigned to support continuous quality improvement and team development. Managerial responsibilities include providing mentorship, guidance, and leadership to the QA team, monitoring the progress of the QA department, ensuring QA staff are prioritizing and tracking defects correctly, and collaborating with internal teams. Regular QA duties involve developing and executing manual and automated test scenarios, assisting with developing QA standards, identifying and reporting issues, and using tools like Jira and Confluence to track bugs and defects.
