Job Description
Coding and Charge Capture:
- Accurate assignment of CPT, HCPCS, modifiers and diagnosis codes.
- Utilizes expert knowledge and application of coding guidelines.
- Ensures accuracy of coding and charge capture.
Communication and Resolution:
- Communicates effectively with providers or other teams.
- Resolves CPT, ICD-10, HCPCs or modifier discrepancies.
- Resolves complex coding-related denials.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum of three years of coding experience.
- Current coding certification through AAPC or other recognized organization.
