We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Human Resources Coordinator to join our People team. This role is ideal for someone early in their HR career who is eager to learn, grow, and take ownership of core administrative processes that keep our team running smoothly. The HR Coordinator will support a wide range of HR functions, from payroll and benefits administration to employee recordkeeping and compliance tasks. This position will initially report to the Chief People and Compliance Officer, and will work in close partnership with the SVP of Finance.
The Human Resources Coordinator will contribute in assisting with payroll processing, including data entry, timesheet verification, and resolving discrepancies, and tracking and reconcile employee hours, overtime, and leave balances. They will process and track employee leave requests (PTO, sick leave, FMLA, parental leave, etc.) and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local leave laws. Also, they will maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system, prepare employment verification letters and respond to external verification requests, and support HR projects such as employee engagement activities, compliance audits, and process improvement initiatives.
