What You'll Do:
- Responsible for running, maintaining, and improving a suite of crucial editorial tools for book publications.
- Review manuscripts to ensure they meet high quality criteria and are beautifully polished.
- Combine editorial sensibilities with technical know-how to support the content pipeline.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of professional editing experience, including at least 1 year editing fiction.
- Native English speaker with excellent copyediting skills and basic quantitative reasoning.
- Remote position requiring availability for meetings on San Francisco hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Romance genres, particularly Paranormal Romance, Contemporary, and Erotica.
- Tech-savvy with familiarity and excitement for AI models and their editorial applications.
- Bonus for candidates living in or near San Francisco.
