Job Description

Life360 is seeking an experienced Director of Marketing Planning and Operations. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will play an empowered individual contributor playing a significant role in ensuring our marketing planning and execution is optimized, efficient and impactful. Your role will be broad and encompass several areas critical to the success of the team. You will refine, optimize and iterate on our integrated marketing planning model for both large campaign development and “evergreen” quarterly activity. You will also lead/moderate cross-discipline marketing planning sessions in service of the operating model and process set for those campaigns and initiatives. You will work closely with Finance to ensure marketing costs are kept in-line with budgets across T&E and other working and non-working marketing investment areas. Additionally, you will serve as project lead and co-editor of the Marketing team’s "Quarterly Business Preview” and “Quarterly Business Review” deliverables. You will “Quarterback” the Marketing team’s process and deliverable construction for Long Range Planning and our Annual Planning process, ensuring marketing deliverables are comprehensive, on-time and executed with excellence, spanning from weekly updates to Life360 Operating Groups to our monthly email newsletter to the company to Board of Directors meeting materials. You will also flag marketing processes in need of improvement and use agency to surface potential solutions and recommendations.
