Senior Civil Engineer

As a Senior Civil Engineer, your focus will be on delivering comprehensive design and documentation for the civil design of sealed and unsealed roads and hardstand, drainage infrastructure, water management and erosion controls in relation to council road and active transport strategies, along with resource client capital and operational projects. You will be responsible for delivery and coordination of projects and proposals, with the potential for both office and site-based works. The role includes delivery of associated technical design work directly related to the urban, rural, and resources based civil infrastructure (roads and hardstand). You will design major and minor drainage and water management infrastructure and controls with an understanding of hydrological principles, and standards with appropriate water management and treatments. Project management across full-cycle of small-to-medium projects, supporting large projects as part of project team. Undertaking preliminary and final designs as well as prepare concept drawings, while also engaging in design and drawing reviews. You will support the well-being, development, and resourcing of team members, participate in client management and business development, and play an active role in the business groups through regular meetings, workshops, training and business planning.
