Core Responsibilities:
- Define the technical strategy for the team and guide engineers in connecting it to high-impact business projects.
- Advocate for technical solutions and refine operational processes to act as a multiplier for team output.
- Partner cross-functionally with product management, design, and analytics throughout the product lifecycle.
Technical Leadership:
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and guidance while working directly with code and system architecture.
- Mentor engineers, offer constructive feedback, and develop talent to foster individual and team growth.
- Navigate ambiguity comfortably, from low-level programming details to large-scale system design.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in machine learning, including tree-based models, transformers, deep learning, and agentic ML.
- Significant industry experience in a technical field, including at least three years managing engineering teams.
- Strong engineering capabilities and the ability to understand complex systems from architecture to implementation.
