Senior Oracle Database Administrator

Accountabilities:

• Administer and support Oracle database environments across Exadata and Linux.
• Monitor performance, capacity, and health, proactively resolving issues.
• Manage Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and disaster recovery.
• Perform advanced tuning using AWR, ASH, ADDM.
• Execute patching and lifecycle management.
• Develop automation scripts with Shell, Python, PL/SQL.
• Manage backup/recovery strategies with RMAN and Data Pump.
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis.

Requirements:

• 7+ years as Oracle DBA in enterprise/managed services.
• Strong Exadata and Oracle SE2 on Linux experience.
• Deep expertise in performance tuning tools.
• Proven RAC, Data Guard, ASM, HA experience.
• Background in patching cycles and change management.
• Proficiency in RMAN and disaster recovery testing.
• Strong scripting skills; Python a plus.
• Linux system administration skills.
• Automation, CI/CD, IaC preferred.
• Excellent communication and documentation.
• Oracle OCP 19c+ and cloud exposure a plus.
