Marketing Technology Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:

• As a Marketing Technology Engineer, you will own Hello Alice's marketing technology stack, keeping email systems running and shipping website changes without waiting on engineering.
• You apply AI across the stack to automate operations and evaluate build-versus-buy decisions, starting with email.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own email operations in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including sends, journeys, automations, segmentation, and deliverability, maintaining QA discipline.
• Ship website changes directly in the headless CMS (Payload) and in code, enabling marketing associates to self-serve routine content work.
• Apply AI across the stack to automate operations, generate code, and find leverage, prioritizing measurable gains.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITIES:

• Typically 3 to 5 years hands-on with production marketing systems like ESP or CMS, with comfort in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and AI tools.
• You have operational judgment to run dependable systems, cross-functional communication skills, and experience making production website changes.
