Senior Claims Adjuster, Workers Compensation

The Senior Claims Adjuster will independently handle all aspects of workers’ compensation claims from set-up to closure, including evaluating and handling high dollar, complex claims. This position requires conducting timely investigations, mitigating complex exposure, and determining accurate compensability decisions within statutory requirements. Responsibilities include setting and adjusting reserves, presenting claims to stakeholders, administering statutory benefits, and complying with regulations. The role also involves controlling legal activity, prioritizing early resolution, and negotiating settlements. Customer service is a key component, serving as a point of contact for agents and customers, providing claim guidance, and ensuring a leading claims customer experience. Continuous improvement of claims operations and processes is expected.
