Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and develop a team of communications specialists, including assigning work and setting priorities.
- Serve as final reviewer and approver for team work products, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to develop messaging for senior leaders.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8 years of related communications experience, including 2+ years supervising or mentoring staff.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience managing team workload and delivery against firm deadlines.
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate logically both written and orally.
- Experience supporting VA, VHA, or other federal health communications.
