Job Description
As a key part of the (DrDRE) Platform-as-a-Service Database team, you'll create a data platform to provide Xero product teams with highly available databases in a consistent and automated fashion. The role involves building on the technical capabilities of the team to provision, own, and maintain the production Database infrastructure, troubleshoot performance issues, and build ancillary tooling and automation. You will also resolve production incidents. Be customer-focused and directly engage with PaaS customers; identify their pain points and solve real problems based on data analysis. Develop continuous delivery pipelines and software tools to automate cloud-based solutions, and continuously improve processes and solutions to be scalable and highly available. Implement detection and alerting of anomalous behaviors and join the team's on-call rotation.
