About the Role:

  • As the first Trade Surveillance Analyst, you'll be a founding member of the DCM's market regulation function.
  • You'll monitor trading activity, investigate alerts, and help build the surveillance program from scratch.

What You'll Do:

  • Monitor real-time and post-trade activity for spoofing, layering, wash trading, and other manipulative practices.
  • Triage and investigate alerts, reconstruct orders and trades, and document whether they are errors, false positives, or violations.
  • Work directly with FCMs and clearing members to gather information and resolve cases.

What You Bring:

  • 2–5+ years in trade or market surveillance at an exchange or regulator, or trading compliance at an FCM or broker-dealer.
  • Hands-on experience with surveillance platforms like Nasdaq SMARTS or comparable tools.
  • Working knowledge of digital assets investigations, on-chain analysis, and forensic tracing using Chainalysis or similar tools.

Nice to Have:

  • SQL, Python, or other data tooling for analysis and automating surveillance work.
  • Experience with 24/7 markets or crypto derivatives.
  • Exposure to CFTC/NFA regulation and DCM Core Principles.
