Essential Functions:
- Identify, prioritize, and execute habitat enhancement projects on public lands.
- Develop and maintain relationships with partners such as Joint Ventures, USDA, and state agencies.
- Conduct or coordinate bird and habitat monitoring at project sites.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in wildlife biology or related field with five years of experience.
- Knowledge of North Carolina conservation issues and experience with restoration projects.
- Excellent communication, project management, and technical writing skills.
Work Environment:
- This role is remote in North Carolina with occasional travel required.
- Ability to engage in strenuous outdoor activity and work varying hours as needed.
