Essential Functions:

  • Identify, prioritize, and execute habitat enhancement projects on public lands.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with partners such as Joint Ventures, USDA, and state agencies.
  • Conduct or coordinate bird and habitat monitoring at project sites.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in wildlife biology or related field with five years of experience.
  • Knowledge of North Carolina conservation issues and experience with restoration projects.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and technical writing skills.

Work Environment:

  • This role is remote in North Carolina with occasional travel required.
  • Ability to engage in strenuous outdoor activity and work varying hours as needed.
