Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage virtualization products and systems, supporting Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) architecture and migration to cloud.
- Function as Level/Tier III support, analyzing and troubleshooting the virtualization environment while ensuring system baseline integrity.
- Develop technical best practices, perform knowledge transfers to customers, and support software upgrades and change requests.
Qualifications:
- Requires a Public Trust Clearance, ITILv4 Foundation Certification, and 4-9 years of experience with a bachelor's degree.
- Must have direct experience with virtualization products, HCI technologies like Nutanix and Cisco Hyperflex, and systems management.
- Desired qualifications include VMware vRealize Automation experience, ServiceNow proficiency, and relevant certifications such as VCP.
Physical and Work Environment:
- The role is remote, requiring a secure home workspace and the ability to communicate effectively via video and writing.
- Must maintain standard working hours, be available for collaborative efforts, and be willing to work a variety of shifts, including holidays.
- Minimal travel may be required, involving management of luggage and equipment up to 25 pounds.
