Head of Group Commercial Legal

This role as a Director involves operating as the Group Legal lead for commercial contracts globally. You’ll be a strategic legal advisor to Supplier Operations and leadership teams, contributing to building an innovative bank. You'll be managing a team of contractors, developing contract templates, and embedding technology solutions to promote automation. Key responsibilities include managing a panel of IT and outsourcing commercial contract experts, delivering insights and metrics, and assessing legal and commercial risks. You’ll drive efficiency and innovation in contracting processes, implement legal technology, and support in-country General Counsels. Providing forward-looking guidance on legal and regulatory developments, managing relationships with external suppliers, and contributing to broader initiatives within the Legal & Board Governance Collective are also crucial aspects of the role. A technically excellent and experienced commercial contracts lawyer with deep expertise in a technology or financial services setting is required.
