Job Description
This role is ideal for an experienced, results-driven consultant with a deep understanding of Workday’s Talent and Learning modules and a strong track record of delivering implementations specifically for public sector clients. You will be at the forefront of helping government organizations modernize their talent and learning strategies through Workday's robust platform. You will lead and support Talent & Learning module implementations for a variety of clients, ensuring that project delivery aligns with the unique operational, compliance, and workforce development needs of public agencies and institutions.
Lead Workday Talent and Learning implementations for state, local, K-12, and other public sector organizations. Serve as a trusted advisor to public sector clients, guiding them through best practices for performance management, workforce development, and training compliance. Gather, document, and analyze client business requirements specific to the public sector’s operational frameworks. Configure Workday Talent and Learning modules, including but not limited to: Performance Management, Learning, Succession Planning, Career Development, and Talent Optimization. Create and present system prototypes to demonstrate functionality and gather feedback. Oversee testing and deployment phases, ensuring stakeholder alignment and readiness. Collaborate with technical teams to support data migration and integrations relevant to HR and training systems used in government environments. Provide mentorship to junior consultants and ensure internal knowledge transfer across project teams. Proactively manage client expectations and communicate potential risks, timelines, and status updates.
