Staff Engineer, Security Engineering Partners

About the Role:

• This position bridges the gap between security and engineering teams, focusing on implementing robust security measures at scale.
• You will partner on up-leveling security capabilities and critical security risk reduction across Twilio products and platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Design and ship scalable security solutions and build relationships with engineering teams.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate scalable security capabilities and drive accountability.
• Lead security reviews for critical features and cultivate security expertise through mentorship and training.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of security engineering experience with deep expertise in application, cloud, or product security.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with threat modeling, CI/CD, and AI tooling.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex security concepts to diverse audiences.
