Corporate Accountant-Payroll

Balance, process and report biweekly payrolls through a third-party vendor, recognizing, analyzing, and resolving any discrepancies with payroll processing and general ledger. Support state tax compliance by entering and monitoring tax notice cases within the payroll system. Assist with monthly financial close activities by preparing Payroll/Benefit related accruals and other journal entries as assigned, performing account reconciliations. The role necessitates a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices, with thorough knowledge of relevant laws and regulations. Create, prepare, and submit reports as needed for various stakeholders and assist with audit and other assigned duties.
