Legal Director, Commercial

As a Legal Director at Shippo, you will be a strategic business partner who also happens to be an excellent commercial, marketing & product attorney. As a member of Shippo’s small and scrappy Legal Team, you’ll cover a lot of ground, helping the business close meaningful partnership and commercial deals. You'll play a key role in counseling the business on managing risk, and assist in developing compliance strategies. Shipping & handling responsibilities include supporting business objectives by strategizing, drafting, redlining, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams - including product, marketing, finance, and security - to identify and assess legal risks while enabling practical, business-driven solutions. You will also develop and refine legal and regulatory strategies to address emerging challenges.
