You might help build scalable APIs powering millions of user interactions, improve system performance and reliability at scale, or contribute to shared services and internal tools. As a backend engineer, you'll lead the design and development of scalable, reliable backend services using modern frameworks and tools, drive collaboration with stakeholders to deliver impactful product features, and evolve Canva’s backend architecture through thoughtful service design. You'll also champion engineering best practices, write robust code, guide code reviews, and maintain service health.
