Japanese TV/Metadata Specialist

Overview:

• We are seeking a Japanese TV/Metadata Specialist to evaluate quality of written and spoken text for services related to movie and TV data.
• You will work with international teams to monitor and improve product quality for a leading consumer technology company.

Position Details:

• This is a full-time remote position based in Japan with a salary of JPY 4,000,000 per year.
• The role requires native Japanese fluency and business-level English, with work hours from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Perform quality assurance on various Movies and TV products’ data/metadata by following testing instructions and test cases.
• Conduct content review and creation adhering to project-specific quality standards, style guides, and glossaries.
• Prioritize tasks efficiently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing requirements.

Requirements:

• Native-level fluency in Japanese and cultural awareness; business-level English proficiency.
• At least one year of experience as a QA, Data Analyst, or similar role, with advanced spreadsheet skills.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current technical language usage in Japanese and familiarity with MacOS.
