Mid Level QA Automation

We're searching for a QA professional with a focus on test automation to join our backend Java development team. The ideal person will have experience in ensuring software quality through automation, with a critical eye to identify failures and improvements. Responsibilities include planning, designing, and implementing automated tests for backend Java applications. It also involves defining and maintaining automated test frameworks, executing regression, performance, and load tests, and collaborating with developers to ensure code quality and test efficiency. Creating and maintaining test documentation, participating in code reviews, and monitoring quality metrics are crucial. Requirements include solid experience in software testing and QA, knowledge in test automation with tools like JUnit or TestNG, experience with automation frameworks like Selenium or JMeter, familiarity with TDD and BDD, knowledge of RESTful APIs and web service testing, and the ability to write test scripts in Java.
