Position Summary:
- We are building a unique software stack of cloud infrastructure, software services, APIs, and AI-driven data analytics to deliver life-saving diagnostic results.
- The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable software solutions supporting Karius' products and mission.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Understand user needs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align software solutions with operational requirements.
- Create technical documentation, implement and test software components, and monitor system performance.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify risks, and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with a Bachelor's or 5+ with a Master's in relevant field.
- Advanced knowledge of TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and microservices on cloud platforms like AWS.
- Experience with testing frameworks, containerization, and event-streaming platforms like Kafka.
