Pharmacist - Med Safety Relief

The pharmacist reviews and categorizes PSI reports, coordinates the completion of overdue PSI reviews with managers and supervisors, writes and distributes requested reports from the PSI system. The role assists in the medication safety education and training of students/residents, attends the Medication Safety Committee, Pediatric Medication Safety Committee and City-wide Medication Safety Committee, and assists in collecting and analyzing medication safety related data for quality review and improvements. The pharmacist works primarily independently and there is significant computer time that may result in ocular fatigue. The work can become repetitive requiring self motivation to maintain attention to detail.
