This position is central to ensuring that journalists, newsrooms, and field experts have access to the necessary resources, training, and support to effectively practice solutions journalism and train others to do so and reports to the Communities of Practice Director. Responsibilities include: Fellowship Management, Program Design & Oversight, Ongoing Support & Impact Tracking, Fostering Newsroom Transformation, Program Implementation & Support, Content Development & Learning Facilitation, Tracking Impact & Relationship Building.
Must-have skills include: Passion for solutions journalism, project management skills, cultural competency and empathy, ability to adapt, strong networking and relationship-building skills. Preferred qualifications include: Bilingual Proficiency (Spanish/English), Evaluation and Improvement experience, subject Matter Curiosity & Learning Agility, Data Literacy and Analytical Skills, Entrepreneurial Mindset / Comfort with Ambiguity, Facilitation and Coaching Skills.
