Engineering Manager (BE) Ecosystem - Integration Platform and Products (NZ remote)

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. This role will see you leading a newly formed team to deliver public REST APIs (Connect API) for Canva’s third-party developer ecosystem. You will be driving high-impact backend engineering across integration capabilities used by strategic enterprise partners and partnering with product, design, and developer platform teams to shape and deliver meaningful platform outcomes. Building and refining scalable API foundations that serve internal and external developers is another key aspect, as is creating a thriving team culture that supports experimentation, safety, and continuous feedback and enabling agentic workflows and cross-team integrations in Canva’s evolving ecosystem.
