Responsible for accurate and timely entry of professional services billings into the IDX billing system.
Manages all components of the billing process through charge entry into the IDX system.
Ensures providers have numbers, activity is captured, forms are complete, patients are registered, and charges are entered.

Essential Functions:

Obtains LPCH medical record numbers for outreach patients and registers patients in IDX.
Verifies insurance information with the hospital business office.
Assists in updating policies and procedures and completes special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Two (2) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
Knowledge of computer systems and software used in functional area.
