Ensures billing for all inpatient, outpatient commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, MCOs, and community pharmacy PBM accounts by analyzing, updating, and correcting claims data. Assures that billing procedures performed by the department are accurate and timely. Coordinates with sites, managed care, and the business office to decrease medication-related claim denials, underpayments, and outstanding claims.

This is a senior level professional fee coding position requiring three or more years’ experience in multiple specialties, coding both inpatient and outpatient professional fee services. Duties include reviewing documentation to assign appropriate codes, resolve edits, and review denials. Resolve coding issues with clinic supervisors and the Revenue Management team.
