Staff Software Engineer, Alloy Integrations

About the team:

• We own how Metronome's customers collect payments and recognize revenue.
• We build and run integrations connecting usage-based billing to Stripe, cloud marketplaces, ERP, and CRM systems.

What you'll do:

• Build and maintain integrations between Metronome and external billing, payments, marketplace, ERP, and CRM platforms.
• Ship features that help customers control how they invoice, collect, and account for revenue.
• Participate in on-call rotation and lead incident response for the systems the team owns.

Who you are:

• You have 10+ years of experience building and operating backend systems in production.
• You have experience with distributed or event-driven systems and third-party API integrations.
• You can communicate technical tradeoffs clearly to engineers and people outside engineering.

Pay and benefits:

• The annual US base salary range for this role is $224,000 - $336,000.
• Additional benefits may include equity, company bonus, 401(k), medical, dental, vision, and wellness stipends.
