Senior Application Engineer, Zuora Billing

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end architecture and complex product catalog design within Zuora Billing, including charge models, subscription lifecycle management, and scalable O2C/OTR solution design aligned to business and finance processes.
• Drive advanced Zuora configurations including custom workflows (automation, integrations, error handling), mediation and data transformation pipelines, advanced billing rules, custom rating logic, multi-entity/multi-currency global setups, custom reports/data sources, and billing performance optimization.
• Design, build, and support robust integrations between Zuora and enterprise systems (Oracle ERP, tax engines, payment gateways, CRM, data platforms), including API-based integrations, middleware flows, automated reconciliations, and audit control mechanisms.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of Zuora subscriptions, billing, product and pricing management, and integration with Salesforce, Oracle ERP, Banks, Payment Gateways, and Avalara tax.
• Expertise in Zuora platform, objects, custom events, and workflows; good understanding of Customer aging, AR to GL reconciliation, and month end processes.
• Knowledge of change management and Agile methodologies; B.Tech or MBA graduate preferred.
