Financial Operations Associate

Responsibilities:

• Assist in processing daily cash and security transfers related to investment products and monitor customer cash balances for unusual activity.
• Gather essential data from vendors, collaborate with Operations, Finance, Compliance, and Risk teams, and ensure WORM-compliance for financial records.
• Work with the Investment Operations team to resolve discrepancies and contribute to projects focused on process improvement and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• 0 to 1+ years of experience in financial services, FinTech, or a highly regulated operations role with an educational background in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
• Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to quickly learn Broker-Dealer compliance requirements like WORM.
• A proactive, collaborative approach with excellent communication skills and a passion for Acorns' mission of financial wellness.
