The Team:
- The ACLU's Technology department builds and maintains innovative, secure digital products that accelerate the ACLU's mission.
- We are a team of engineers, designers, product managers and administrators who take pride in creating technical solutions.
What You'll Do:
- Contribute to front-facing websites of the ACLU and its affiliates, key platforms for public education and advocacy.
- Get hands-on experience working on high-impact web projects that help reach and activate millions of people.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience writing code in at least one high-level programming language such as PHP or Python.
- Experience with front-end development tools and content management systems like WordPress or Drupal.
Internship Logistics:
- Part-time internship (20 hours/week) for 12 consecutive weeks starting Jan. 11 or Jan. 25, 2027.
- Remote or hybrid from the New York City office; stipend of $20/hr for undergraduate students.
