About the Role:
- The ACLU seeks a full-time summer undergraduate intern for the Speech, Privacy and Technology Project in New York City.
- The position can be remote or hybrid, and applicants must be matriculated undergraduate students based in the U.S.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct research on free speech, privacy, and technology issues.
- Prepare litigation and advocacy materials, including blog posts and FOIA requests.
- Assist with case files and propose independent research projects.
What You'll Bring:
- Enthusiasm for social justice and civil liberties.
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Internship Logistics:
- Requires a full-time commitment of 35 hours/week for 10 weeks.
- Interns receive a stipend of $20/hour.
