Senior Software Engineer - Metrics for Release, Implementation

About the Role:

• Torc is developing Level 4 autonomous semi-truck software to transform freight movement.
• As a Senior Software Engineer on the Metrics for Release team, you will translate business and system requirements into production-ready software.

What You’ll Do:

• Translate SPI and system-level requirements into technical designs and production implementations.
• Build and maintain Python-based services and AWS data pipelines supporting metrics and validation workflows.
• Work closely with requirements, systems, and validation teams to ensure accurate implementation of safety and performance metrics.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field plus 6+ years of experience, or Master’s plus 3+, or PhD plus 1+.
• Strong Python development experience and experience with AWS services like S3, Lambda, ECS, Step Functions.
• Ability to take ambiguous requirements and translate them into working software, with strong debugging skills.
