Director of Technology Operations

Role Overview:

• Lead the next operating model for a ~150-person technology organization behind production-critical financial infrastructure.
• Evolve Technology Operations from reactive to scalable, with clear ownership, platform engineering, automation, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do:

• Define strategy, target operating model, and roadmap for Platform/DevOps, Corporate IT, and Operational Excellence.
• Build strong leaders and implement a "you build it, you own it" model while reducing toil and increasing self-service.
• Partner with Security, Risk, and Compliance on ICT resilience, risk management, audits, and regulatory readiness.

What We're Looking For:

• Significant leadership experience in Technology Operations, Platform Engineering, or comparable functions.
• Proven record of organizational transformation and developing leaders who operate autonomously.
• Experience with production-critical systems, regulated environments, and modern service management.

What Success Looks Like:

• Measurable reduction in recurring operational toil and fewer repeated incidents within 6-12 months.
• Stronger service ownership, clearer metrics, and Technology Operations that scale with less manual coordination and executive intervention.
