Engineering Lead - AI Platform

We are seeking a senior, multidisciplinary leader to define the architecture, roadmap, and vision for Neon's internal AI Platform. This is a unique opportunity to navigate the worlds of engineering and product, taking on the challenge of building and guiding the evolution of the foundational platform that powers all of Neon's AI-driven solutions. The AI Platform is the cornerstone of our strategy to deliver on Neon's core mission: paving a path to a better financial future for Brazilians. It comprises the tools, best practices, and infrastructure that enable our teams to build, deploy, and operate impactful AI applications for our customers. This role can be structured as either a hands-on Staff Engineer or a management position, depending on the candidate's profile and expertise. The lead engineer will be hands-on: writing code, leading and participating in design reviews, shipping to production, responding to incidents, and unblocking teammates. You will be responsible for converting ambiguity into clarity, defining the product direction, making critical investment and prioritization decisions, and communicating the roadmap to stakeholders across the company.
