Senior Software Engineer, Core Experiences (Contract)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver medium complexity initiatives from technical discovery through delivery, breaking them into features and managing scope.
• Create mobile Wikipedia product experiences across web and app surfaces with accessible, scalable components.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs with clean schemas, contracts, and monitoring.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and 5-10+ years building production web applications and services.
• Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Vue.js, and PHP.
• Experience building responsive mobile-first web experiences with performance and accessibility focus.

Additional valued experience:

• Adding webview experiences to native iOS or Android apps.
• Launching or maintaining cross-platform mobile applications.
• Experience with data science, machine learning, or AI.
