Job Description
This position is within the Tolling Services team of Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Hungary, which specializes in electronic road-charging solutions. The team develops and operates intelligent, kilometer-based tolling systems for international customers, covering processes like vehicle registrations, charge calculation, and fleet billing. In this role, you will handle MariaDB operation, including maintenance, migrations, administration, and configuration. You will also support developers, testers, and DevOps engineers with database operation best practices.
As a Database Engineer, you'll implement MySQL and MariaDB Galera on OpenShift / Kubernetes using mariadb-entrprise-operator and do conceptional work for service design and provisioning, automation and operation. The database team provides full operational responsibility, including production environment support, 24x7 on-call duty, and SLAs.
