Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate technical oversight activities supporting DOE nuclear reactor and fuel cycle programs.
- Support DOE in review and oversight of developer activities across lifecycle phases.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary reviews across nuclear safety, engineering, quality assurance, and more.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering or related technical discipline; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years experience in commercial nuclear, DOE, or naval nuclear programs.
- Demonstrated experience with technical oversight for nuclear facility activities.
Desired Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience with DOE Office of Nuclear Energy or Idaho National Laboratory.
- Familiarity with DOE Orders, NRC regulations, and NQA-1 standards.
