What You'll Do:
- Own your team's delivery, health, and growth, including planning, execution, and shipping across teams.
- Hire, grow, and retain engineers through 1:1s, performance management, and career development.
- Set and raise engineering standards, processes, and ways of working, providing technical direction without micromanaging.
What We're Looking For:
- 8–12 years of total engineering experience, including 3+ years of direct engineering leadership.
- A track record of hiring, growing, and retaining engineers with positive retention and team-health outcomes.
- Deep distributed systems and cloud-native architecture knowledge, with engineering judgment retained alongside the management role.
